ELEN Network

Our next Emergency Services and Law Enforcement Network (ELEN) meeting will be held on Thursday 19 September from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon via Microsoft Teams.

Adjustments and redeployment
We are delighted to be joined by colleagues from our BDF Senior Disability Business Partners team. They will be presenting to us on what adjustments are, common adjustments you may want to consider and what is considered as ‘reasonable’ when it comes to adjustments.

We shall also discuss if there are no reasonable adjustments that would allow a disabled employee to continue in their current job, what you need to think about when it comes to redeployment of a disabled employee.

We have time for questions built into this session, so we’d welcome your input around this topic.

Bipolar and what emergency services can do.
We are delighted to be joined by Eve Mair, Senior Public Policy Officer for Bipolar UK. Eve will provide us with an overview of what Bipolar is and will give us with some practical guidance and insights.

The aim of the session is to empower people affected by bipolar to live well. We will have time for questions during the session.

This meeting will be an opportunity for our ELEN members to share current concerns and support each other.

Live captions will be included as part of this meeting.

Please note, this meeting is available to Emergency Services and Law Enforcement Network (ELEN) members only.

If you have any further questions or if you are interested in attending, please email our events team at events@businessdisabilityforum.org.uk
