Adjustments and redeployment
We are delighted to be joined by colleagues from our BDF Senior Disability Business Partners team. They will be presenting to us on what adjustments are, common adjustments you may want to consider and what is considered as ‘reasonable’ when it comes to adjustments. We shall also discuss if there are no reasonable adjustments that would allow a disabled employee to continue in their current job, what you need to think about when it comes to redeployment of a disabled employee.
Neurodiversity awareness support for your organisation.
You’ll all be aware of the Health & Social Care Act that all regulated health and care providers must provide mandatory learning disability autism awareness training to their whole workforce that is appropriate to their role.
This part of the session will focus on the resources that are available to you through your BDF membership and how you can get more involved in our other networks to support this.
This meeting will be an opportunity for our NHS members to share current concerns and support each other and will operate using the ‘Chatham House’ rule. Live captions will be provided.
This meeting is for Business Disability Forum Partner and Member organisations only. Invitations have been sent to Partners and Members that are part of the NHS Network. If you haven’t received an invitation and you are interested in attending either just this meeting or becoming a Network Member, please don’t hesitate to contact us at events@businessdisabilityforum.org.uk.
