Our first panel session “Everything you always wanted to know about disability inclusion but were afraid to ask” included an expert line up from our Business Disability Forum team including Diane Lightfoot, Adrian Ward, Davina Critchley, Fleur Donnelly-Jackson and Emily Jackson answering your queries.
We were then joined by Sandra Kerr from BITC sharing “What’s New in Diversity & Inclusion”, discussing their findings and new guidance on race and mental health with insights for organisations to share for D&I planning.
We explored “Perceptions vs reality – how far have we really come?” with Dominic King from Accenture, who shared fascinating research findings as well as a great panel.
And we explored intersectionality and disability in the next decade looking at “What’s Next in Diversity & Inclusion”.

Collecting Global Employee Disability Data
Through the Global employee disability data research, we aimed to understand the reasons global organisations gather employee disability data, the common challenges associated with its collection and also to highlight the things that have been helpful to any progress organisations have been able to make.
This research has been undertaken in partnership with Business Disability Forum’s Global Disability Data Working Group (Working Group), a dedicated subgroup of our Global Taskforce, whose purpose is to uncover key challenges and promote best practices associated with the collection of employee disability data worldwide.
Global Workplace Adjustments
We spoke to several global organisations to understand their current practices in global workplace adjustments. The findings are summarised in the Global workplace adjustments report, as follows:
