Webinar: Covid-19 and your disabled customers

Hosted by Business Disability Forum

As the situation with the coronavirus and COVID-19 changes day by day this webinar will explore how the virus may affect disabled people and people with compromised immune systems.

Your disabled customers may not have changed but the environment in which they shop has changed completely. Join us on this webinar where  Head of Legal, Content & Events Bela Gor will be joined by Rick Williams, Head of Business Disability Forum Consultancy and Christine Hemphill, Managing Director of Open Inclusion to share their insights and provide tips on how to:

  • Maintain social distancing without excluding disabled people e.g. people with visual impairments or people who need to shop with someone else
  • Enable disabled people to maintain their health and fitness, access their finances and entertainment during lockdown and shop for both the essentials and those luxuries in life that we all need and where they face barriers
  • Ensuring your online presence is accessible to as many people as possible
  • Make deliveries in a safe and inclusive way
  • Enable disabled people to maintain their health and fitness, access entertainment during lockdown and shop for both the essentials and those luxuries in life that we all need and where they face barriers

This advice is specifically about the coronavirus and your disabled employees, customers and clients.
