What works? Collecting and managing disability data (postponed)
14 May | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Update – 10 April 2026
This webinar has been postponed due to the UK government’s recent announcement regarding the introduction of mandatory disability pay gap reporting. This means that change is coming for UK organisations, but it is uncertain when this will take effect. We will reschedule this webinar in due course. Apologies for any inconvenience.
This webinar is part of our disability essentials series What Works? designed to guide you through the essentials of disability inclusion.

What works? Collecting and managing data about your disabled workforce will help you focus on why you are collecting data, when to ask about disability and when it is inadvisable, and how to ask questions that will elicit the most useful answers. Crucially it will also help you understand what to do with the data you have collected to improve employee engagement and create a more inclusive workplace.
Natalie Leister, Head of Practice, and Gurpreet Dhammi-Samrah, Acting Advice Service Manager from our Advice Service will provide:
- A summary of the law and requirements.
- The benefits of a data strategy and what it should include.
- A guide to what types of data you could collect about your disabled workforce and what they will tell you.
- Tips on how to collect, analyse and present data.
- The opportunity to ask questions of our experts on the Advice Service.
- Signposting to a wealth of resources to help you continue to build your knowledge.
