Neurodiversity Network Jun 2026
16 June | 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Gambling addiction and the ways it can impact those with neurodivergent conditions.
Bet Know More work tirelessly to raise awareness, deliver support services and, through education, create more understanding about gambling harms. ‘We want people to be empowered to live the life they want to lead.’
Established in December 2013, Bet Know More UK’s mission is to address gambling harms in UK communities. Bet Know More is a leading provider of gambling support and training services. We provide award-winning services which embrace the insight and knowledge of experts by experience combined with evidence-based approaches. At our core is the lived experience of gambling dependency and recovery, from the Founder to the support team to the Management Board.
Addiction is often seen as a taboo or confronting issue, infrequently spoken about in the workplace but known to affect huge numbers of people. In this session we will learn about the work that Bet Know More carries out and hear the lived experience of those who have experienced gambling addiction.
Some of the most important conversations are the ones we find hardest to start. This session is a safe and welcoming space to talk openly about the parts of life we don’t always discuss – including addiction. We believe that shining a light on difficult topics is how we begin to make a real difference, and every voice and experience is welcome here. This is a closed and confidential group. As we share, please be mindful that some topics may be difficult for others in the room, and that’s okay. We’re here to support one another.
