Louis has been part of delivering Lloyds Banking Group’s (LBG) disability and neuro-inclusion strategy for the past 11 years, taking a practical and pragmatic approach to change. He’s covered policy, recruitment, workplace adjustment delivery, training and much more.
The LBG personal development programme for colleagues with disabilities and neurodivergent conditions has been running for 26 year, focusing on laying strong foundations for delegates future careers. It’s about understanding their disability in a work context, the legal protections and support available to them as well as developing tools and techniques to increase self-confidence and self-advocacy. Ultimately it is about supporting them to own their disability or neurodivergence and thrive both in and out of work.
Overview of the training services BDF and our newly developed Embracing Neurodiversity course
Kier Fox, Learning & Development Manager, Business Disability Forum
We will be hearing from Kier Fox who oversees all things Learning and Development here at BDF. Drawing on 20 years’ experience, he designs, delivers and scales impactful training that is both engaging and inclusive, supporting organisations to develop their understanding of all things disability and business. Kier will give an overview of the training services BDF can offer, from our newly developed Embracing Neurodiversity course to fully bespoke and custom programmes, and help you understand the role of training in transforming good intentions into consistently inclusive practice.
This meeting is for Business Disability Forum Partner and Member organisations only. Invitations have been sent to Partners and Members that are part of the Employment Network.
