Procurement Network May 2026
May 19 | 10:00 am – 11:30 am
How to approach good practice for accessible procurement
We are delighted to be joined by Glenn Hurst, Head of Procurement at RNIB. Glenn will be sharing with us what an inclusive procurement process should look like and what we do when things don’t quite go to plan. We’ll discuss building clauses into contracts, sales puffering (we’ll tell you all about it in the meeting!), and how to make sure that accessibility doesn’t fall through the gaps.
We shall also have a demo of what it looks like when accessibility isn’t considered, and the human impact this has. We will have time for questions, so come along and get involved.
Atos Disability Smart procurement – building it into their business as usual
We are delighted to be joined by Beata Baumann and Sophia Yordanova, as they share with us how they have been embedding accessibility to make it ‘business as usual’ at Atos. As Disability Smart Awards 2025 finalists, they will talk us through the journey they’ve taken, what has worked well, and how things have evolved over time – for the better. They will have practical examples of how they engage with suppliers via their global supply programme, and the tools they use to engage and measure these interactions.
This meeting is for Business Disability Forum Partner and Member organisations only. Invitations have been sent to Partners and Members that are part of the Procurement Network. If you haven’t received an invitation and you are interested in attending either just this meeting or becoming a Procurement Network member, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This event will operate using the ‘Chatham House’ rule.
