 Adjustments and redeployment 

Colleagues from the BDF Senior Disability Business Partners team will be presenting on the topic of adjustments: what they are, common adjustments you may want to consider and what is considered as ‘reasonable’ when it comes to adjustments.

We will also discuss reasonable adjustments that would allow a disabled employee to continue in their current job, and what you need to think about when it comes to redeployment of a disabled employee. 

Neurodiversity awareness support for your organisation 

Under the Health & Social Care Act, all regulated health and care providers must provide mandatory learning disability and autism awareness training to their workforce, as is appropriate for each role. 

This part of the session will focus on the resources that are available to you through your BDF membership, and how you can get more involved in our other networks to support this. 

 This meeting will be an opportunity for our NHS members to share current concerns and support each other.    

This event will operate using the ‘Chatham House’ rule.
