An inclusive IT strategy meets the needs of global trends that can influence a wide range of activities, processes and perceptions, both in government and in society, and it’s more than just accessibility and Assistive Technology.
Assistive Technology (AT) is an umbrella term that includes assistive, adaptive, and rehabilitative devices & software for people with disabilities. We need to widen the definition to include:
- Usability
- Interoperability
- User experience.
