Trade organisations and qualifications bodies
The Equality Act 2010 makes it unlawful for a trade organisation to discriminate against a disabled person in relation to membership of the organisation or access to membership benefits. The Act also makes it unlawful for a qualification body to discriminate in relation to conferring professional or trade qualifications.
Employment services
It is unlawful for employment service providers to discriminate against disabled people looking for employment. Employment service providers include both public and private sector employment and recruitment agencies.
