About

Every organisation procures things, whether that is outsourced services, office space, furniture, or technology. Disability must be a priority in procurement, so that all users, including those with disabilities, can access and use what you procure.

This webinar will:

  • Outline the business and social case for disability inclusive procurement.
  • Explain the principles of disability smart procurement.
  • Share guidance, tools and strategies on influencing positive change.

Speakers

We will be joined by Darlene Fuller, Senior Director of Supplier Diversity, Sodexo to learn how they are approaching disability inclusive procurement in practice.

Jacob Spargo-Mabbs, Content Manager, Business Disability Forum will outline the principles of disability smart procurement and introduce BDF’s recently updated Procurement Toolkit, sponsored by Sodexo. The Toolkit is designed to provide practical tools for procurement professionals, and strategic guidance on embedding disability smart procurement in your organisation. The resources are available to all Business Disability Forum Members and Partners and will be made temporarily available to anyone attending the webinar.

This webinar will be chaired by Victoria Harker, Project Manager, Business Disability Forum.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone responsible for procuring products and services for their organisation,
  • Senior leaders responsible for procurement functions,
  • D&I professionals.
