Barclays’ seven principles of inclusive design

These Inclusive Design Principles by Barclays are about putting people first. It’s about designing for the needs of people with permanent, temporary, situational, or changing disabilities – all of us really, and comprise seven standards:

  1. Provide a comparable experience
  2. Give control
  3. Offer choice
  4. Consider situations
  5. Be consistent
  6. Prioritise content
  7. Add value.
