Higher Education Institutions Network Jan 2026
January 22, 2026 | 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Manchester University – It takes a long time to move a ship!
We are delighted to be joined by colleagues from Manchester University. They will share with us the work they’ve done to join up services for students and colleagues, and to positively change the culture of the organisation.
We will be joined by Kathy Bradley, Equality Diversity and Inclusion Partner, as they talk about the work they’ve done to change the culture of the organisation – everything from podcasts to staff networks. We shall then hear from Louise Pepper-Kernot, Head of Disability Services, as they talk about the different experiences of students and colleagues, but how working cross team comes with big benefits. And last, but by no means least, we shall hear from Charlie, as they shared their experience of moving from student to colleague, and the different experiences this brings.
This meeting is for Business Disability Forum Partner and Member organisations only. Invitations have been sent to Partners and Members that are part of the HEI Network. If you haven’t received an invitation and you are interested in attending either just this meeting or becoming a Network Member, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
This event will operate using the ‘Chatham House’ rule.
