
BBC Extend Programme
We are delighted to be joined by Robbie Crow, Strategic Disability Lead at The BBC who will discuss the Extend Programme (link opens in browser). Extend is the BBC’s positive action employment programme for people who are deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent. Robbie will discuss the following topics:

- Why the BBC developed the Extend Programme
- The importance of getting senior buy-in
- The challenges of developing a positive action employment programme
- How the BBC ensures the Extend Programme meets the criteria in the Equality Act to use positive action
- Sourcing candidates
- The role of workplace adjustments
