Think Disability resources: what’s included
Our Think Disability resources are aimed at colleagues in busy, front-line roles. They are bite-sized, offering simple information and tips about real scenarios which staff will encounter with customers. Different formats are provided to support employees with different learning styles.
These resources are short, practical, and visually engaging for desk-free colleagues, who may only have a few minutes to engage with them in a working day.

Resource formats for every learning style
Each scenario-based topic is covered in three formats:

Digital guides (PDF format) – The guides cover clear practical guidance on how to navigate common work-based scenarios in a disability-inclusive way. With a read time of a few minutes, these are designed to provide specific tips of meaningful actions that staff can take

Short videos – An impactful demonstration of disabled customers’ experiences and the barriers they may encounter that deliver key tips and showcase examples of inclusive service.

Staff briefing packs – Equipping Team Leads with all the resources they need to deliver short sessions on disability inclusion topics. Each pack contains comprehensive delivery notes, and an optional PowerPoint deck that can be shared with the team digitally or printed off and distributed to colleagues.

Our disability fact sheets take a more specific look at common disabilities that may impact how a customer interacts with your organisation. The fact sheets support workers to recognise and understand common disabilities, and provide them with tips on how to improve the experience for customers with those disabilities.
These resources are accompanied by an implementation guide that supports you to identify the best ways to distribute the resources, encourage workers to engage with them, and measure their impact.
