Tolu comes with a wealth of cross industry experience having worked within the third sector, higher education, investment banking and management consultancy. As a management consultant with Accenture, Tolu developed expertise around cultural maturity, financial regulation, training content creation, business process improvement and business change across a variety of clients including Vodafone, BP, Barclaycard and Lloyds Banking Group. Tolu has delivered large scale programmes for a social mobility charity working across 34 UK universities with 200+ mentors and 500+ learners. Whilst working in higher education, Tolu was shaping the race equality and disability agenda for over 2,000 staff and 20,000 students. Tolu also ran and delivered a national diversity and inclusion programme for the entirety of the UK construction industry working on site, consulting to major projects and with delivering to senior and board level executives to improve industry culture and outcomes. In the role, Tolu developed and created a network of 600 ambassadors, a network of 15 trainers, spoke at a variety of summits, conference and most notably delivered a session on stage at UK Construction Week at the Birmingham NEC. Tolu recently led a number of award nominated race focused D&I colleague programmes and customer campaigns for 180,000 colleagues and 26 million customers for the Sainsbury Group (which includes Sainsbury’s, Argos, Nectar, Sainsbury Bank and Habitat). Currently, Tolu now works for one of the world’s largest companies delivering D&I programmes to countries across Europe, Middle East & Africa.
