Season’s greetings from Business Disability Forum – our highlights from 2025
As we approach the end of 2025, we want to thank our Members, Partners and wider network for the role you have played in advancing disability inclusion this year. Together, we’ve made meaningful progress across policy, practice, and global impact. Here are some of the highlights from the past year.
Our impact in numbers
Throughout 2025, our work reached more organisations, individuals and communities than ever before, reflecting the growing demand for practical, evidence-based support on disability inclusion.

- Ran events with over 4,686 attendees from 33 countries, including 1,813 at 40 Network and Taskforce meetings, and over 100 speakers sharing their expertise.
- Had 15,794 interactions with Members and Partners through our confidential Advice Service.
- Had our work mentioned in over 240 articles, interviews and other pieces of media coverage including BBC Breakfast News, Forbes, The Telegraph, The FT, People Management and Business Matters.
Policy, research and thought leadership
We continued to play a leading role in shaping disability-inclusive policy and practice, informed by the lived experience of disabled people and the expertise of our membership.
During 2025, we:
- Saw 35 per cent of our Members contribute to our Government policy work to help shape public disability policy.
- Responded to 9 government consultations or Parliamentary enquiries including Pathways to Work and the Keep Britain Working employer Review.

- Shared our thought leadership by speaking at external events including ABI, British Council, CIPD, CMI, Society of Occupational Health and more.
Learning, development and services
Supporting organisations to take practical action remained at the heart of our work in 2025.

- Delivered over 148 Learning & Development training sessions.
- Completed 87 consultancy projects, including 5 globally focused projects.
- Published new resources to our Knowledge Hub, including a toolkit with step-by-step advice on how to create accessible and inclusive events and resources for desk-free workers to upskill customer-facing staff.
