Smarter London SMEs Network

The Smarter London SMEs Network brings together our members to discuss how disability inclusion impacts and improves their businesses.  Our aim is to create a safe space for our members to discuss the unique challenges faced by London’s small business community, share successes and best practice, learn how to do more for their disabled employees and customers and to connect with other small businesses committed to improving the life chances of disabled people.

At our next meeting on the 26th of October 2021, we will:

  • Look at the impact of Smarter London SMEs and how have been supporting our members since the project’s launch.
  • Hear from specialists and guest speakers on various SME related topics such as advice on supporting neurodiverse employees, how to ensure safe environments for disabled customers and staff post COVID-19 and updates on disability law and how it affects small business.
  • Create opportunities for our members to connect with other small businesses experiencing similar challenges; a chance to share what works, get advice from other small businesses committed to disability inclusion, and explore partnership opportunities.

The Smarter London SMEs Network operates a closed meeting to create a safe and secure space where our members can talk about challenges they face, and the solutions being considered and implemented to overcome these.

About our work

Smarter London SMEs from Business Disability Forum was launched in March 2021 and offers free specialist advice and support to London based Small and Medium sized businesses.

The project is free to join because of the unique way it is funded by City Bridge Trust’s Positive Transitions Programme – helping Londoners experiencing inequality make important transitions in their lives.

You can learn more about the project on our webpage: https://businessdisabilityforum.org.uk/our-services/smarter-london-smes/

This meeting will take place via Zoom and will include live captions. Guests will be welcome to join via the Zoom app, browser or via conference call.

If you are interested in joining, if you have any questions or would like to request adjustments for this meeting, please contact us at events@businessdisabilityforum.org.uk
