Disability Smart Lifetime Achievement Award

This award isn’t one that is open for entries but is one that BDF makes at its own discretion to celebrate the work of an outstanding individual who has shown ongoing commitment to improving opportunities for disabled people.

David is executive sponsor and senior champion for disability inclusion at Lloyds Banking Group. David has a passion for disability inclusion and a commitment to end stigma and has driven change within his own organisation and helped others. The power of a leader in his position talking openly about disability and his own lived experience of mental ill health cannot be underestimated in making it feel safe for others to do so too.
