Professional with less-visible disabilities, who wears a wrist support, working at a desk using an ergonomic mouse and accessible keyboard.

About

We are delighted to bring you our inaugural Workplace Adjustments Masterclass supported by Microlink and the Bank of England.

This in-person masterclass will take an in-depth look at workplace adjustments and will help you identify the importance of having an effective workplace adjustment process in place, by exploring both the business case and legal framework.

In a workshop style format, attendees will have the chance to work with workplace adjustment experts from Business Disability Forum, Microlink and the Bank of England to identify common challenges with their existing processes and explore pragmatic solutions.

Key topics

  • What are workplace adjustments and understanding the importance of having effective policies and processes to support your approach to implementing adjustments.
  • The legal context and business case.
  • Identifying common challenges and pragmatic solutions to workplace adjustment processes. This will be a safe space to discuss these challenges and learn from other organisations about what has worked well (and what hasn’t!).
  • Through the Bank of England case study, understand what an effective process looks like and the impact that this has.
  • A chance to “ask the experts” on all matters related to workplace adjustments.
  • Signposting to further support to help you continue to build your knowledge.

Speakers

  • Diane Lightfoot, CEO, Business Disability Forum.
  • Dr Nasser Siabi OBE, CEO, Microlink.
  • Claire Scott, Heath and Wellbeing Lead, Bank of England.
  • Other speakers to be confirmed.
