The European Accessibility Act (EAA): It’s never too late to start

May 1 | 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Traveller with scarring and a limb difference talks to employee with less-visible disabilities at check-in counter in an airport.

The EAA comes into effect on 28 June 2025. Is your organisation prepared? Do you know how your organisation will be impacted?

If you are UK-based with European customers, do you understand how this will apply to you?

This webinar will take you through what is included as part of the EAA and provide you with some simple guidance on what you need to do to be compliant. Following an overview, our legal expert Bela Gor will guide us through some scenarios and will be taking your questions.

This webinar will cover:

  • A non-technical overview of what the EAA covers.
  • Clear information on what you need to do to be compliant.
  • Support to creating a road map to get you off the starting blocks.
  • Preparing for the unknowns.

Speakers

  • Victoria Harker, Head of Content, Business Disability Forum.
  • Lucy Ruck, Taskforce Manager, Business Disability Forum.
  • Bela Gor, Director of Legal & Content, Business Disability Forum.

Who should attend?

This webinar is ideal those who are starting their conversations about the EAA, and looking at the areas of their business that could be impacted. Due to the CE certification required as part of the EAA, we would also recommend that you invite colleagues working in this area, including manufacturing, designers, and legal teams.
