Procurement Network
June 3 | 10:00 am – 11:30 am

A diverse supply chain is a better supply chain
We will explore why diverse suppliers lead to a more agile and resilient supply chain. Our speaker from Sodexo will share the initiatives they have put in place to support their diverse suppliers and how this has positively impacted their business, a journey which has taken 10 years.
They will also discuss why it was so important for Sodexo to proudly sponsor the Business Disability Forum Procurement Toolkit, meaning that more organisations could access these important resources.
Speaker
- Sonia Mangat, Head of Responsible Sourcing, Sodexo.
If at first you don’t succeed, try and try and try again!
NatWest will share their procurement journey with us, from the perspective of a digital accessibility team, including how they have worked to embed accessibility into their procurement processes – which wasn’t always successful.
Our speaker will talk through her recent approach, focusing on ‘risk’, along with the scoring and weighting guide that she has provided to her colleagues. We’ll discuss what has worked well, and what their future plans are, and to embed accessibility within procurement as a ‘business as usual’.
Speaker
- Sara John, Senior Digital Accessibility Specialist, NatWest.
This event will operate using the ‘Chatham House’ rule.
