Supported internships

DFN Project SEARCH and Clyde and Co worked together to provide young people people with a learning disability and/or autism with supported internships within law firms. They will share their experience, including the benefits these programmes bring to both interns and employers.

We will discuss:

  • DFN Project SEARCH and how its supported internships work.
  • Developing supported internships.
  • Overcoming sector-specific challenges.
  • The partnership between DFN Project SEARCH and Clyde and Co.
  • Achievements of the programme at Clyde and Co.

There will be opportunities to ask questions of both speakers throughout.

  • Jessica Franklin, Senior Diversity & Inclusion Advisor at Clyde and Co.

DFN Project SEARCH is a national charity changing the lives of young people with a learning disability and/or autism by supporting them into full-time employment, currently in 190 locations across the UK.
