What is the Disability Confident scheme?

The Disability Confident scheme is a UK Government initiative to encourage employers to recruit people with health conditions and disabled people. It also aims to help employers retain their disabled staff encouraging them to work through the structured programme.

Participating in the Disability Confident scheme can be a great way of demonstrating to applicants and candidates that your organisation is committed to recruiting and retaining disabled talent.

At BDF we support member organisations through the scheme and as part of your membership we validate level 3.
