Award winning detailed access guides for TUI Hotels

We are delighted to be joined by Marina Snellenbery, Accessibility Manager, TUI UK&I as they present their Disability Smart award winning access guides. Marina will share with us the work they have done at TUI to provide consumers with information on accessibility of their TUI hotels. Partnering with AccessAble, the information collected is then used to create Detailed Access Guides. That way, customers with access needs have everything they need before they book and can feel confident when choosing their holiday.

All 200 guides are available on our TUI website, and AccessAble’s site. They will be adding another 200 hotels to the list, making it to 400 Detailed Access Guides by the end of the year.

Motability – a fully inclusive journey

We are delighted to be joined by James Horne, Head of Accessible Vehicles at Motability Operations. James will be sharing with us the work they are doing in the scheme to consider the whole journey for their users. This includes the design concepts and prototype for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV), accessing charging points, and an inclusive app for consolidating other charging apps. It’s literally about providing an inclusive journey at every stage.


This event will operate using the ‘Chatham House’ rule.
