Attracting and recruiting disabled talent

June 25 | 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

Chaired by Emily Jackson, Senior Disability Business Partner, Business Disability Forum, this webinar will delve into inclusive recruitment processes to attract, engage and recruit disabled people, supporting them to enter, progress and thrive in the world of work.

Attraction and engagement is key. Jane Hatton, Founder and CEO, Evenbreaka global job board for disabled candidates, and Rozana Green, Diversity Outreach Lead, BBC will talk through the positive steps you can make to ensure you reach this skilled and diverse pool of talent.

By changing your recruitment processes you can change the results. What different channels can you tap in to, to reach the right candidates?  What outreach initiatives are there? Where and how do you start to make the change?

The webinar will include a spotlight on BBC Extend, the BBC’s positive action employment programme for people who are deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent. BBC Extend ringfences roles at all levels,  from entry level to senior manager, that only disabled people can apply for to support their goal to create more job opportunities for disabled people at the BBC.
