Jem Freeman, Advice Service Business Partner will provide the guidance you need to:
- Ensure your recruitment process is inclusive and accessible.
- Communicate and promote vacancies.
- Offer an interview to disabled people.
- Anticipate and provide reasonable adjustments as required.
Who should attend?
Organisations at any point in their Disability Confident journey who want to take part in a friendly and informative session and connect with BDF experts.
What is the Disability Confident’ scheme?
The Disability Confident scheme is a UK Government initiative to encourage employers to recruit people with health conditions and disabled people. It also aims to help employers retain their disabled staff encouraging them to work through the structured programme.
Participating in the Disability Confident scheme can be a great way of demonstrating to applicants and candidates that your organisation is committed to recruiting and retaining disabled talent.
At BDF we support member organisations through the scheme and as part of your membership we validate level 3.
If you have any questions or if you would like to request any other specific adjustments for this webinar, please email our Events team.
