Retaining disabled talent

July 10 | 10:00 am 11:00 am

Professional wearing a sunflower lanyard to indicate they have a less-visible disability talks to a colleague in the casual seating area of an office.

This is the third webinar in the series ‘Getting it right for every employee’.

‘Getting it right for every employee: Retaining disabled talent’ will discuss the top key things that employers can do to make sure employees have a great start to working in your organisation – and to help make them want to stay.

Our CEO Diane Lightfoot and Director of Policy and Research Angela Matthews will address the following questions:

  • How can you give employees the best start in your workforce during onboarding and induction?
  • What makes disabled employees stay in an organisation?
  • What makes disabled employees feel excluded at work?

This webinar is open to all, but will be particularly useful for business leaders, HR professionals, and D&I professionals.

Please note this webinar is number 3 of 4 and the webinar will assume delegates are familiar with the knowledge covered in the previous 2 webinars.

‘Getting it right for every employee’ webinar series

This series explores the employee life cycle from recruitment, then retention, and onto career progression.

It aims to equip employers with resources and practical tips to improve their practice, raise awareness of the importance of workplace adjustments, and transform the experience of disabled employees.

The first 2 webinars covered the basics of disability for organisations and disability-inclusive recruitment.
