Understand disability and your legal role

Define what is meant by disability, and explain the legal duty to make reasonable adjustments, including the role of workplace barriers.

Be able to explain workplace adjustments

Explain what adjustments are and why they matter for supporting performance and wellbeing.

Lead confident, respectful conversations

Use best-practice language and structure to lead adjustment conversations, confidently and respectfully, in line with BDF’s recommended approach.
