About

Elephant Park – Lendlease’s focus on accessible public places

We are delighted to be joined by Matthew Burgess from Bovis and Mhairi Boland from Lendlease. They will be sharing with us the work they’ve been doing at Elephant Park. They will talk us through their principles to make sure it’s accessible to everyone, from safety through to design, and the different stages of how they’ve gone about this.

They will also share with us their work with the Equitable Safety Partners and Inclusive Spaces and Places group, and how you can be included in these.

Improving your estate, by one calm room at a time

We are delighted to be joined by Jacqueline Carrington-Fallow, Accessible Design Lead|Retail Branch Design, Property services at NatWest. They will be sharing with us their insights on managing a complex estate, and the approach they have taken to improving accessibility and inclusion for their customers and colleagues.

Jac will talk us through some of the factors that have helped this change, from senior stakeholders, the Paralympics, through to embedding into business as usual. She will also showcase their Calm rooms, and how these have benefited everyone. At the heart of everything they are doing, is disabled people, as nothing is more important than lived experience.Due date
