Joanna Wootten is a consultant who supports businesses in thinking strategically and practically about disability, with a particular interest in disabled and older customers.
She is Chair of TfL’s Independent Disability Advisory Group, and a member of the End-User Advisory Panel for Pay.UK, and is an ambassador for Business Disability Forum (and indeed formerly a director there for five years prior to becoming a consultant). She is a governor of Frank Barnes School for deaf children. She was born deaf and can use BSL.
Joanna originally trained as a solicitor, and has a MSc in Gerontology (older people) from King’s College London. She is particularly interested in the overlap between age and disability.
