  • Set targets, goals and objectives and decide when it may be reasonable to adjust these for disabled employees.
  • Give positive and negative feedback to employees about their performance and how to implement performance improvement plans.
  • Identify the impact of a disability/ impairment or long-term condition on the behaviour of an employee and what this may mean for the team as a whole.
  • Adjust disciplinary, capability, performance management and grievance processes for the needs of disabled people or those with health conditions where appropriate.
