Simon Kitchen

Simon Kitchen is the CEO of Bipolar UK, the national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by Bipolar Disorder. Since starting in April 2018, he has refocused the charity on its core mission of delivering peer support to people affected by the condition. Prior to this role Simon led one of the UK’s largest social care co-production initiatives at Leonard Cheshire Disability; working with over a thousand people with long term conditions in residential care to improve their choice and control. He also led the Dementia Action Alliance for over 4 years, increasing its membership from 40 to over 1,000, and has a background in policy and evaluation.

Simon is speaking exclusively at our 2019 Annual conference: Disability leading the way.
