Sara has spent the last 12 years in aviation, helping to improve the passenger experience.

She has varied and extensive operational management experience, having spent many years running the security operation.

Latterly, she has been focused on improving accessibility, with particular regard to hidden disabilities. She particularly focuses on the accessibility strategy, training and awareness, engagement with charities and support groups, looking for new innovations and technologies, and working with project designers to make new and upgraded areas of the airport accessible.

Sara is working with various service providers, charities and support groups to help raise awareness regarding hidden disabilities. She understands that airports are confusing and complex places at the best of times and aims to work with industry experts to understand how we can learn from them and utilize that knowledge to make air travel accessible for everybody.
