Professional Development Webinar: Reasonable Adjustments in 2020Share via facebook Share via twitter Share via linkedin Share via email
Now, more than ever, it is important to understand how disabled employees, customers and service users have been impacted by policies and practice in light of recent global events and how to provide the right support.
Under the Equality Act 2010, organisations need to make changes in their approach or provision to ensure that services are accessible to disabled people as well as everybody else.
Reasonable adjustments can mean alterations to buildings by providing lifts, wide doors, ramps and tactile signage, but may also mean changes to the way we do business, such as providing an accessible website, holding inclusive meetings or providing Easy Read literature.
On Thursday 17 December, we will be discussing reasonable adjustments: what’s changed and what do organisations need to know and do now?
This 2.5 hour-long webinar will be hosted by our Learning and Development Manager, Ruth Fisher.
