Northern England Network

Hosted by the BBC

Our next Northern England Network, open to all our Members and Partners will be held on Wednesday 22 January 2019 hosted by the BBC in Salford.

At our next meeting, we will hear from the BBC Cape team, winners of our Disability-Smart Influencer Award 2019 and how they have influenced real change and removed barriers for neurodivergent people across the BBC.

We will hear from Texthelp about how embracing and supporting neurodiversity can help organisations reach and attract staff from a wider talent pool.

Adrian Ward, Head of Disability Partnerships at Business Disability Forum will lead a session that explores what leading practice looks like in relation to making adjustments for employees.

Join us to discuss and hear what organisations are doing to be come Disability Smart in the North of England.

This event will also provide an opportunity to network with peers and shape the direction of this exciting group.

If you or a colleague are interested in attending, please contact our events team at events@businessdisabilityforum.org.uk to register.
