Getting it right for every employee: What everyone should know about disability

Business Disability Forum Getting it right webinar series graphic.

This is the first in a new webinar series ‘Getting it right for every employee’. This series will explore the employee life cycle from recruitment, then retention, and onto career progression.  It aims to equip employers with resources and practical tips to improve their practice, raise awareness of the importance of workplace adjustments, and transform the experience of disabled employees.

The first webinar in the series, ‘Getting it right for every employee: What everyone should know about disability’ will provide an important introduction for anyone starting out in disability inclusion.

Our CEO Diane Lightfoot and Head of Policy and Research Angela Matthews will address the following questions:

  • Who are disabled people?
  • What is the legal definition of disability?
  • What are adjustments?
  • How can you find out if your organisation has an adjustments policy?

This webinar is open to all, but will be particularly useful for business leaders, HR professionals, and D&I professionals.

More webinars in this series will be announced later in the year. To be the first to know, sign up to the Business Disability Forum newsletter.
