Central Government Network

Our next Central Government Network meeting will take place on the 23 May 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, open to colleagues from central government organisations and agencies in our membership.

There have been many disability-related employment policy developments recently. Angela Matthews, our Head of Policy and Research, will provide a summary of what they are and what you should do about them. Topics will include:

  • The new carer’s leave entitlement,
  • The new flexible working entitlements,
  • What does BDF’s latest research on intersectional experiences of disability support at work say HR should be prioritising right now?

During the meeting we will also hear from Marie Clarkson, Employment Manager at the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) who will be speaking about RNIB’s Visibly Better Employer Quality Standard.

This meeting will take place via Microsoft Teams and will include live captions.

If you have any questions or would like to request adjustments for this meeting, please email our Events team.

Please note, this meeting is available to Central Government Network members only.  To find out more about this network, please visit the Central Government Network page.
