Business Disability Forum (BDF) has launched the Disability Essentials range today (29 November). This collection of free to access disability resources offers essential guidance for all businesses.
The Disability Essentials range covers key areas including:
- Attracting and recruiting disabled talent
- Being an inclusive manager
- Managing workplace adjustments
- Welcoming disabled customers
- Understanding the law around disability
The non-profit, business and disability membership organisation has launched the collection as part of its celebrations to mark the UN’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3 December.
Diane Lightfoot, CEO, Business Disability Forum, said:
“Businesses often tell us that they want to do more to attract and retain disabled employees or to meet the needs of disabled customers, but don’t know how. We have created the Disability Essentials range to provide all businesses with key disability guidance on topics that we are most often asked about. We hope that many organisations will find the resources useful as they look to become more disability smart.”
