David Caldwell

David has been an IT Accessibility Manager at Barclays since 2013, having joined the bank in 2011 on a Graduate leadership programme in 2011. David’s role involves the design and development of the bank’s Accessibility Academy, supporting the delivery of accessibility across the banks products and services and managing relationships with suppliers, external partners and charities. David’s role also involves the management of the IT Accessibility Team’s external presence at events and on social media. In 2015 he lead the redesign of the Accessibility Maturity Model as part of the BDF’s Technology Taskforce. David speaks externally on a range of topics including culture change, accessibility and mental health issues.
