Chris McCoy MBE

Chris is a trained Equal Opportunities Investigator for the Civil Service and also a trained workplace mediator, having worked in this area for 20 years she investigated Equal Opportunities complaints for DWP, CSA and Defra, as well as training HR managers in discrimination law. 

Chris now Heads up Equality & Diversity and Accessible Tourism for VisitScotland, implementing a business focused diversity strategy enabling VisitScotland to meet it's legal obligations and fulfill it's corporate business objective of enhancing the visitor experience in Scotland. Chris chairs the Accessible Tourism Steering Group in partnership with the Scottish Government, and also represents VisitScotland in Brussels on the EU Accessible Tourism group.  Chris has recently managed the implementation of the new Accessibility Guide web-site which encourages the industry to write an Access Guide to help disabled people find suitable holiday accommodation or activities.
