Eleanor Williams is a specialist in discrimination law. As she is disabled herself, she realises the importance of educating as well as litigating. She lectures at the University of Wales, at Sheffield Hallam University, and at the Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Lille.

She is a director of the Discrimination Law Association and a trustee of the Royal Association of Disability and Rehabilitation. She is a committee member of the Equality and Human Rights Commission in Wales.
